A vintage Shalimar by Guerlain perfume bottle with a small bit of the fragrance remaining. Circa 1950s, it is beautifully styled with frosted draped bottle with clear panel at front topped with a crystal rosebud stopper with the original gold embossed Shalimar paper label and gold cord around neck of bottle. The bottle includes two paper labels, one is a tax label.

The lovely collectible bottle is approximately 4" tall

The bottle has a small chip at the rear base, no cracks, the stopper appears to have an internal crack or occlusion. The bottle displays well.

The Flacon Amphore was designed and produced by Baccarat & also manufactured by Pochet et du Courval & was used for the pure perfume, also called extrait for many scents such as Mitsouko, Ode, Vol de Nuit, and Shalimar. This bottle was made after 1955 with the introduction of Ode, and continued usage til about 1960.
