Vintage Porcelain Match Striker - Figural Match Holder

Offered is a vintage porcelain Match Striker. The figural safe holder is a lovely piece, etched 1940 on the bottom. The piece is white with faded gold banding. The match striker is on the bottom of the lid; the lid has what looks like chess pieces on top in shades of purple and gray.

The piece is in very good condition with chips or cracks, wear on the gold trim and the striker has been used. The item measures approximately 3 1/8" wide by 2 3/8" tall and 2" wide.

A beautiful piece of porcelain, a wonderful collectible and a rare find.
