A vintage book boxed set, Legends, Maps & Stories of N.E. by Edward Rowe Snow. The hardcover book was published by George W. Prescott Publishing Co. Quincy, Mass., 1965. A rare, first edition signed copy of the book. The book is in very good vintage condition with marbled paper boards and black cloth spine with gilt lettering. The cardboard case features a graphic of New England map. Included in set are the following: Cape Cod Map by the author, Boston Harbor and Massachusetts Bay by the author, Casco Bay by the author, a copy of a 1780 map of Boston, a map of Fort Warren by the author, a lighthouse map, a Boston Harbor map, and a ship identifier. A rare set in very good condition, from a noted New England historian. The cardboard case measures approximately 8 7/8" x 6 3/8" x 1".
