Offered is a rare, vintage fingerprinting kit; circa 1940s-1950s. In a black case that includes three drawers, a handle, and a metal closure. The black case measures approximately 9 1/4 "x 6 "x 10 1/2 ". It is in very good vintage condition considering years of storage. Side hinged to reveal three wood dovetailed drawers that open with metal pulls. Included are four brushes marked 1/2 SPADEA U.S.A. and a rubber roller brayer. Four original glass bottles still contain various powders---Spadia Fixing Red Powder, Spadea Gray, an unmarked bottle of white powder, and an unmarked bottle of black powder. In addition, thirty Civil Fingerprint Cards are included with areas to record personal information including scars and marks, emergency contacts, and space for all fingerprints for right and left hands and any abnormalities, like amputations. A cool private investigator collectible.
