Antique Porcelain Cow Covered Dish

A rare, antique white porcelain cow covered dish. The fine porcelain oval dish is imprinted 176 and has a pretty scalloped edge. The lid, with its white porcelain cow decorated in gold is quite striking. The interior of the lid is marked in gold, 220 and either 40 or SO (see photo). A sweet, high quality piece remarkable for its condition due to its age, no chips or cracks. The dish measures approximately 7 1/4" x 6" x 5" tall.
