Antique Ovington Brothers Cup and Saucer Set, Royal Doulton

This is an antique Ovington Brothers cup and saucer set. The Fine Bone China set was made by Royal Doulton and imported by the Ovington Brothers, a high end New York retailer, which shortened its name in 1920. The pink and gold patter pattern is set off with gold striping around the rims and handle. The set is rare, both the cup and saucer are marked Ovington Brothers and Royal Douton.

In very good vintage condition with no chips or cracks, minor surface scratching and finish loss. The teacup measures approximately 3 3/4" at top rim (excluding handle) and 2 1/2 tall at handle. The saucer measures approximately 5 5/8" in diameter.
