An antique book, Prose Dramas. This first English edition of Peer Gynt by Henrik Ibsen. Translated by William and Charles Archer first published in 1890-91; this edition was published in 1902 by The Walter Scott Publishing CO., Ltd.; London and Charles Scribner's Sons, New York. The American edition, the book is in very good vintage condition with edge wear on covers and spine and includes a bookplate from the Porcellian Club.
