Antique Columbian Exposition Souvenir, Mauchline Ware Trinket Box

A small, antique Colombian souvenir trinket box from the Victorian Era! The Mauchline Ware box features a Birds Eye Image of the World's Columbian Exposition, Chicago, 1893--nicely detailed. The wood interior is good with some spotting. The small box measures 3 inches by 2 1/8 inches x 1 1/2 inches tall. In good antique condition.

Mauchline Ware was produced in Scotland using sycamore wood with highly detailed transfers. The company produced the wares from 1850 until 1933. Wonderful souvenir of New Hampshire.
