Antique Art Nouveau Bookends

A pair of rare antique bookends. The art nouveau style of a couple running under a leaf is a classic. The number "504" is stamped on the bottom back of each bookend. The back of each bookend has an art nouveau plant design in a silver tone metal. The bookends are unmarked and rare, I could not find an example to determine manufacturer.

The antique bronze bookends each measure approximately 8” high x 5” wide x 4” deep. Excellent age appropriate condition with a wonderful patina. Outstanding bookends.
