Vintage 1947 Singer Featherweight Sewing Machine

This is a wonderful vintage Singer Featherweight.  This is a 1947 model, 221-1 model, serial number AG985111 indicating manufactured in 1947, a post WWII machine. 

Included with the machine is the original case, foot control and various accessories.  A torn Singer manual, which has period graphics, is also included.

The machine sews well, after a few drops of oil, she stitched with a nice purr.   I recommend a professional tune up, machine is sold without warranty. A quilter's best friend, perfect for travel.

The machine is in good vintage cosmetic condition, decals are legible and machine is still shiny with surface scratching.  The cord is in flexible condition, in working order.  The carrying case is in vintage condition, the case interior has some rust, the exterior is stained, the case hardware is all in good working order.
